	Abstract:	Solomon Griggs (b. ca. 1788) was a farmer who settled in Denmark (Ashtabula County), Ohio, before 1810. The collection consists of a ledger book detailing expenses incurred while operating the farm and listing the people he paid for labor, livestock, firewood, etc.; two contracts for pledges to construct a school house; and two letters.

	Abstract:	The collection includes an account book which may have belonged to Elisha Walker detailing farm expenses and community building costs, possibly in Ashtabula County, Ohio; and, an album of confessions entitled "Mental photographs", which contains personal questions about expectations of self and spouse answered by both males and females, possibly members of a club in Ashtabula.
